Welcome to what we hope will be the beginning of a game-changing movement in the real estate industry, although we must confess, it's not our goal to change the industry, at least not this week or next. But you never know... perhaps the time is right, RIGHT NOW... and we'd love to count you among the early followers.  

So, what's the SWS Exceptional Agent™ Project all about?

The Exceptional Agent™ Project is a long term initiative to create a safe place for an exclusive subset of the real estate community - real estate licensees who believe a career in real estate can and should be an honorable profession - one to be proud of, not apologized for. Where members of the community believe that competently and compassionately serving our current clients is our first priority - that the buyers and sellers who have honored us with their business deserve our full attention and respect, and any prospecting that needs doing can be done AFTER our current clients are taken care of. Members of the Exceptional Agent™ community naturally and intuitively run their businesses as professionals, not as salespeople, and are committed to being competent, even exceptional real estate agents who never take the business of their buyers and sellers for granted. 

The ultimate goal of the Exceptional Agent™ Project is to provide the tools, guidance and camaraderie our members need to run their businesses the way they KNOW is right for them.

Okay, so that sounds all fine and dandy and warm and fuzzy, but how, specifically, will the Exceptional Agent™ Project help me be successful running my business the way I KNOW is right for me?

Ahhhhhhh... yes, the details...

As mentioned above, the Exceptional Agent™ Project is a long-term initiative and won't be completed overnight... probably not even this year. Our first and overriding goal (Phase 1) is to provide the competence-based education that is sorely missing in our industry with a wide array of courses and programs created specifically to help new and experienced licensees BE the best real estate professionals they know. Courses about MLS, Contract and Market Mastery... courses in using checklists to ensure nothing falls through the cracks... courses about building a solid team, proper pricing and figuring out why the heck your listing isn't selling. Y'know... all those things our clients pay us to do and expect us to be good at! 

Phase 1 of the Project was released in early September 2012 with the launch of the Exceptional Agent Program at SWSUniversity. You can read all about it and enroll here.

Future initiatives at the Exceptional Agent™ Project may include:

• Agent and public awareness marketing of an Exceptional Agent™ certification. 
• An Exceptional Agent™ network where members can connect with and refer to other Exceptional Agents™
• Sample marketing materials to use on websites, listing presentations and sphere of influence communications.
• Teleseminar training sessions on competence-related topics of interest to Exceptional Agents™
• ... and much more as ideas occur to us, AND/OR...
     ... as you suggest ideas to us!

As demonstrated in the video, it's not the leader who makes a movement successful, it's the early followers! So, YOU can help by BEING one of our early followers, and leading by example.
