Guys this is funny. I found a listing the other day - looked good. Am actually going to show it to someone tonight. Funny thing was in the private remarks.
"This house was TOTALLY REMODELED in the 1980s!"
Stated like this was an awesome thing! LOL RETRO!!!

I kinda liked the 80's...Night feva, night fe-va...
I have to remember that. Like Broker Bryants picures of "recently installed storm shutters" (sheet of plywood over the window).
Are you going to post some pics???

Is it a smallish space with the need for mirrors? or maybe they were carnival owners and had all those mirrors left over after the funhouse closed...I think it's kind cool though...
...and definitely the agent is good at staying out of the reflrction...or could it be that the agent doesn't have a reflection...tough market there...
Susan, I am trying to get in touch with a more sensitive me. We go to "that" closing today. I feel a lot like I used to feel getting out of the unit on a night traffic stop...LOL.

I will definitely be sending good thoughts your way today. Hope it all goes well and there are no blows exchanged. I'll put $20 on you to take him, though.
I work with a young agent who had a horrible deal early on...without going into all the sordid details, it was really ugly with the husband accusing the agent of all sorts of things. The husband came to closing, refused to SIT DOWN, paced the room, signed everything standing up! Very weird. Anyway, a month later, the agent gets a call from a buddy of the client, who had referred him to the agent, saying he did a great job for them. The agent was totally baffled. You just never know what's going in the minds of some of these folks.
As they say, beer is good, people are crazy. And that pretty well sums it up.

Well, I am admitting that I offered my broker a celebratory beer at the pub down the street after the closing. He is there to watch the other side a bit...things in the paperwork just didn't flow correctly without reminders and such, too may strike throughs, etc. Plus, we just need to sit down and have a beer together once in a while His wife told me I was a baaaaad influence on him (jokingly) yesterday. Hmmm, I seem to remember that being said a few times in the past: Executive Director of the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism (one down from the Governor) during my interview for a regional supervisor position, to the committee: "What is it about Saunders that brings out the absolute worst in all of us?" He was wiping tears away at the time...hmmm I didn't get the job My niche was elsewhere

Well even if the agent was a vampire, the camera would at least show up in the reflections!
Good thoughts coming your way today!

Man, that's why you get the big bucks, Perk...didn't think of the camera showing up. Is that baseboard heat humongously expensive, or is it hot water? B

It's actually propane / hot water heat....supposedly it's very efficient.

We don't have that stuff down here...or sand hills Might be a good thing though when it gets really cold, like oh, down in the 30's and even brrrrr the 20's Then, if the kids are lucky, 3 snowflakes will be seen somewhere near Little Rock, and people will buy all the bread and milk in town and schools will close for a week... you guys would just die...lol

My kids would LOVE that. Though around here they jump to close school at the slightest hint of the weather turning...it's crazy. If there are flurries, there is a delay....drives me nuts. Used to be a delay or cancellation only occurred if there was ice or really bad weather.

Really? I figured you would go if there was 2 feet o' snow. That is the major danger for folks from the northern climes when they move down south...we still get out and drive, even though we haven't got a clue I need to look into that propane hot water heat. Sounds interesting.
