My manager broker (he retires at the end of the month after 35 years btw) always brings something new to the Tuesday meeting. Sometimes the lesson is on MLS rules, NAR Code of Ethics etc. usually there is something on prospecting, contact management or such. Well today the packet included a couple of pages of a RIS Media story on SOI. I'm at first flipping through and quick scanning the article just to see what this person was writting about...I'm thinking hey bub, you better know what you are talking about because I know The Queen of Everthing SOI...I turn to the last page and there it is:

I did say that I have purchased your books and that I have been following your ways for a couple of months now. I tried not to hijack my managers meeting too much...I do have a tendency to do that...but I did say one of the best things that I have received from you is the fact that my SOI is not the people I know but the people I know that know I sell real estate. I like saying that and watching peoples reaction...like a light bulb goes on and they are thinking...yeah. It's like JA is the first person that really finished the sentence that everyone can repeat: SOI is the people you know......that know you sell real estate.
