Hey gang!  As I mentioned in my intro, I'm currently taking classes online.  One of my classes requires a 4-5 page research paper as a final project.  The topic is open, and I'd like to choose something that would hopefully teach me a little more about my chosen career path.  Soooo, I'm looking for suggestions!

The guidelines read: "The subject of your paper should provide you with ample opportunities for research, since you will be required to use five to seven references to prove your thesis.  In addition, you should select a dynamic topic that allows you to conduct research on multiple sides of the issue."

Any ideas?

You could write on how sales is not just an "extroverted" career choice Smiley

Along the lines of what Kelly said, I've been doing research lately on how men and women approach a sales career differently...

The class is "Utilizing Information in College Writing."   Roll Eyes  I had some difficulty finding adequate resources for anything real estate related, so I settled for another topic close to my heart - censorship in literature (banned books) - specifically as applies to Harry Potter.   Grin

I have written a research paper about The Prophets of the Old Testament as Political Leaders. It discusses that since the prophets believed that the course of history is shaped by the will of God, a violation of Israel's commitment to God would inevitably harm the Israelites. The paper explains how the prophets' role was to insist that the Israelites mend their course of action and maintain their part of the covenant with God; otherwise, as the writings of Amos and Isaiah avow, the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah will be destroyed.

That is a very interesting activity. Doing a research paper that will reflect your chosen career. There are many topic there but let me ask first what is your chosen career? Thank you!
