Our intent…Originally, this forum was created for participants in The Savvy Prospector Course as a means of administrating the course and to foster accessible interaction and exchange of ideas.
Now, the idea is to maintain it as an archive of useful information on all subjects Real Estate, where people can gather to discuss their ideas in a well rounded, ‘SUPPORTIVE’ environment. Yes, this forum should be one of the few places where Real Estate IS a team sport.
With that said, here are a few pointers: a) If you have nothing nice to say… (we all know this one)
b) RE Law is different from state to state. When receiving legal advice (which is NOT recommended) from any member of this forum, it is the responsibility of the recipient of the advise to confirm the legalities of the ideas voiced. The burden is on the seeker of information, PERIOD!
c) Anonymity: You’ve probably noticed that none of the online services provided by Jennifer Allan allow posting, commenting, or community involvement without valid personal information from you. Many Internet users get concerned about handing out this type of information. Our perspective is that it is more important to make every effort to protect the users we have, rather than open up our online communities to folks that would prefer to hide their identities. If you are one of these people, please, do NOT request an account on any of our services. This requirement is not a marketing ploy to collect your data. It is an attempt to maintain the integrity of our online communities. In short, inaccuracy of account information is cause for termination of any or all of your community accounts.
d) Non Real Estate Related posts are ok. Please be sure to post them in [NON-REAL ESTATE TOPICS] under [GENERAL CATEGORY].
e) Censorship: Please be professional. We can moderate, but we would prefer not to have to. If you’re not sure if your post or comment is acceptable, it probably isn't.
f) No profanity! It’s a free country, yes. But this isn’t a free forum. Keep it clean… This is a family show, folks.
g) Pictures and other Media: If it isn’t yours, please don’t post it. Please include the source (and a link if possible) when referring to any published materials.
